QOOB is proud to present the first storage and charging system for electric vehicles (e-scooters parking) that incorporates mechanisms for protection and sanitation against COVID-19.
The QOOB system is a modular, safe and intelligent parking solution with a charging system adaptable to any model of electric vehicle. In the presented model, it incorporates a lamp with UV-C light that activates for one minute once the vehicle is parked inside the QOOB.
Irradiation with ultraviolet light or UV-C light is very effective in sterilizing surfaces. Studies have already shown its efficacy against coronaviruses, such as those that cause SARS and MERS, so that in the case of the coronavirus causing COVID-19, its use would make sense.
The presented design is especially aimed at shared use electric scooters. Thanks to this innovative design, users of sharing scooters will be able to share electric scooters with full guarantees that the vehicle is completely sanitized and free of harmful microorganisms.
It is designed to be easily integrated as urban furniture in any of its configurations: bench or planter. A version that integrates a solar panel would be available to make it energy self-sufficient.

QOOB se enorgullece de presentar el primer sistema de almacenamiento y carga para VMP (Vehículos de Movilidad Personal) que incorpora mecanismos para la protección e higienización contra la COVID-19.
El sistema QOOB, es una solución de estacionamiento modular, segura e inteligente con un sistema de carga adaptable a cualquier modelo de vehículo eléctrico. En el modelo presentado, incorpora un lámpara con luz UV-C que se activa durante un minuto una vez el vehículo se estaciona dentro del QOOB.
La irradiación con luz ultravioleta o luz UV-C es muy efectiva a la hora de esterilizar superficies. En estudios realizados ya se ha demostrado su eficacia frente a coronavirus, como los causantes del SARS y el MERS, por lo que en el caso del coronavirus causante de la COVID-19 tendría sentido su uso.
El modelo presentado, está especialmente dirigido a los patinetes eléctricos de uso compartido. Gracias a este novedoso diseño, los usuarios de los patinetes de sharing podrán compartir los patinetes eléctricos con plenas garantías de que el vehículo se encuentra totalmente higienizado y libre de microorganismos nocivos.
El diseño está pensado para que se pueda integrar fácilmente como mobiliario urbano en cualquiera de sus configuraciones: banco o jardinera. Estaría disponible una versión que integra un panel solar para que fuese energéticamente autosuficiente.
